AirRobot UK®. We offer the most extensive training packages for all of our customers. Training consists of classroom theory and practical flying tests. We then evaluate the skills learnt by the new operator shortly after training is completed. Students have to display a level of responsibility and operate the system safely at all times before we are completely satisfied with their level of competency. The UK Centre for Homeland Security is our dedicated training area and accommodates some perfect test flight and exercise areas for new students. The site is set in 55 acres of land hidden in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. There are outdoor training areas as well as classrooms and other indoor areas for AirRobot skills building exercises. On site accommodation is available and we can also offer the use of our newly built conference rooms. The site is used by many government agencies from around the world for counter terrorism training and many other security related courses. Houses in wooded areas, buses, train carriages, abandoned vehicles, open fronted buildings and hard stands provide the perfect environment for AirRobot training exercises. We will make the training as realistic as possible for student operators. There are many scenarios and role plays that will require a large amount of concentration from the student when learning the skills needed to operate the AirRobot. If this facility is not required we can visit your location and train students on site. We do advise you to use our centre for training purposes as the best learning experience and preparation for real deployment can be received at our exclusive facility.
